Tatts
Taylor Tattoo has been a household name in the State of
Florida since the early 1970's. No one knows how many works
of art he has put on human flesh throughout his life, but
he has tattooed generations of families, celebrities, horses,
dogs, cats, and turtles alike. His first shop was in North
Miami after moving down from Philadelphia. There he worked
for a few years before opening in Fort Lauderdale. Being
that there was no law on the books for tattooing in Fort
Lauderdale, Tatt's was soon arrested for "attempting
to perform a tattoo". Well, after going through the
beloved court system, he won his place in the tattooed
world and paved the way for many future generations of
artists to come.

His work ethics were strict and his standards very high. He felt
that when you got a tattoo, it was going to be the best tattoo
that you ever had and his reputation was on the line. Tatt's
passed away in May of the year 2000, but his shop and memory
are still alive. The tattoo world has lost a great artist
, pioneer and friend. And if you happen to have a tattoo
by Tatts, now and then take a look at it and remember the
legend Tatt's Taylor.
