This
year, 2003 marks Connie Taylor's twenty six years
in tattooing.
She apprenticed for the late Greg May in Lake Geneva,
Wisconsin in 1977. After working with Greg for nine
years she had the chance to move down to a warmer climate
and that place was Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 1986.
There
in Ft. Lauderdale she worked with Tatts Taylor and
has been working there ever since. In 1996 she
married Tatts which only lasted a few years due to
Tatts' passing in May, 2000. Connie owns the shop and
still runs it the way it has been running for the past
sixteen years when she came aboard.
Her
style is everything, and she has always had the feeling
in order to be a
good tattoo artist you have to be well trained in
all facets of the art, be it traditional, oriental,
or
even black and grey work. Every tattoo you do should
be better than the one you did before. |
